FALL FOLIAGE & GREENWOODS ROMANTIC HUBERTUS AUTUMN FEST
Experience the enchanting ambiance of a cozy rural autumn, accompanied by delightful music, horse-drawn carriages, and a rich hunting culture, all in a festive atmosphere. Our gathering point is located at our Stud Farm in ‘t Groene Hout, Wassenaar. Sit back and relax in traditional carriages, pulled by majestic draft horses from the Ardennes and Austria, as you embark on a romantic tour through Wassenaar, adorned in vibrant autumn colors. During your visit to the estate, you will be guided through the autumn forest, where you’ll encounter various attractions, including the interreligious chicken coop, the charming Old Dutch coffee house, serene ponds, an African hut, a Cape pavilion, and even a Zermatt chalet folly.
We will pause for refreshments at the Three Country Point, allowing you to savor the moment and enjoy a drink.
After the enchanting tour through Wassenaar, we will return to GreenWoods, where a diverse program awaits you. Among the highlights is a captivating performance by one of the largest dance organs in the Netherlands, the GreenWoods Palace Organ. On selected days, you will also have the opportunity to attend a concert by the hunting horn players affiliated with our Stud Farm.
Following the musical interlude, guests will be welcomed into the hunting room, where a warm and inviting atmosphere awaits with crackling wood fire, hunting-inspired melodies, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and traditional Dutch speculaas cookies. Dress warmly and embrace the country style as you immerse yourself in the lively autumn event, hosted in the Hunting and Carriage Room of the Stud Farm.
